Testimonies of Healing

My first testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel in 1967. Since then I have had many additional proofs that Christian Science heals, and treasured opportunities to serve in modest ways this wonderful Science.

Christian Science resolved a relationship problem for me in business. A reconciliation was brought about through the recognition of infinite Love, and through the Christ-power embodied in this recognition.

For five generations Christian Science has blessed our family. We have had many healings.

For some years I suffered severe pain in my jaw. Several doctors attended me but to no avail.

I am deeply grateful for a recent healing in Christian Science. For many years I had carried on my back a worrisome burden in the form of an unseemly and unnatural growth.

I am very grateful for Christian Science and for Christian Science practitioners. Early one morning in 1973 I felt ill with pain in the region of my heart.

My first testimony was published in the Journal in May 1953. Since that time I have steadfastly desired to understand and prove more fully that we may rely completely on Christian Science to heal sickness and sin and to erase fear from our lives.

When Christian Science was introduced to me as a teen-ager, it was the answer to prayer, for I felt I needed something to stabilize my life. My father was an alcoholic.

Toward the end of the last century my grandmother, who had been a cripple until that time, was healed through Christian Science treatment. I was fortunate to be brought up in a Christian Science home.

About fifty years ago a man I know was called to his mother, who was seriously ill in a distant city. She had been given up by the medical profession and was apparently dying.
