Testimonies of Healing
For more than half a century I have experienced the benefits of Christian Science, individually and for my family. Before this healing and regenerating truth came into our lives, I had attended a service in a Church of Christ, Scientist, only once, as a child, and had never known about Science and Health by Mrs.
Both of my parents took up the study of Christian Science when I was still an infant. Eventually they became class-taught students and as a result I enjoyed a childhood which was very happy.
My last testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel , February 3, 1940. After leaving the Christian Science Sunday School, having reached the age of twenty, I applied and was accepted for Christian Science class instruction.

My first printed testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel of December 9, 1967. In it I told of a healing of appendicitis accomplished a few years earlier with the treatment of a Christian Science practitioner.

Christian Science found me as a young housewife. Through friends I had learned of this teaching and began to read Science and Health by Mrs.
It is my earnest hope that this testimony, in addition to expressing gratitude for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science, will lend encouragement to some of those who may prematurely have withdrawn from the educational system. As one of five children of a widowed mother left without income, I dropped out of high school in the first semester of my sophomore year and went to work.
