Testimonies of Healing

Mary Baker Eddy tells us on the first page of the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings. " This statement has proved itself true in numerous cases in the experiences of my family and myself as we have traveled the highway from sense to Soul.

In view of the fact that I have been a grateful beneficiary of Christian Science for over thirty-eight years, I should no longer delay acknowledgment, through the periodicals, of these benefits. Early in my study of Christian Science I was healed of headaches, which had troubled me throughout my girlhood and young womanhood.

When I was first interested in Christian Science, our daughter, who was very young, was ill one night with a fever. I had only read a few Christian Science Sentinels, but an article in one of them on the overcoming of fear had impressed me deeply.

While I was still attending high school, I was healed of what a doctor diagnosed as tuberculosis in its severest form. This healing was brought about through the work of a loving Christian Science practitioner in a very few treatments.

Gratitude fills my consciousness for the many blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science. On many occasions I have proved the truth of Mrs.

Christian Science has brought numerous blessings into my life, It found me twenty-eight years ago in deep mental distress, and it has led me step by step into a clearer sense of the consciousness of life in God. Christian Science has been a never-failing help to me and my three children, and it has showed us that God is the only physician.

That Christian Science heals has been proved in my experience main times. One of my first healings was of a condition diagnosed as inflammation of the ducts leading to the gall bladder.

One day when I was battling with what seemed like a Goliath, a kind friend handed me an invitation to a Christian Science lecture. I attended the lecture and a little later borrowed a copy of Science and Health by Mrs.
