Testimonies of Healing

Christian Science has brought numerous blessings into my life, It found me twenty-eight years ago in deep mental distress, and it has led me step by step into a clearer sense of the consciousness of life in God. Christian Science has been a never-failing help to me and my three children, and it has showed us that God is the only physician.

That Christian Science heals has been proved in my experience main times. One of my first healings was of a condition diagnosed as inflammation of the ducts leading to the gall bladder.

One day when I was battling with what seemed like a Goliath, a kind friend handed me an invitation to a Christian Science lecture. I attended the lecture and a little later borrowed a copy of Science and Health by Mrs.

I became interested in Christian Science because I knew some students of this Science who had deep faith in God. I began reading Science and Health by Mrs.

I am so grateful to be able to testify to the many blessings received through the study of Christian Science. One of my first healings in Christian Science was the overcoming of sick headaches.

I am daily grateful that I was early taught the fruits of obedience. My mother was a devout Christian Scientist, who believed in adherence to the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy and the bylaws of our own branch church.

I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. W hen I first heard of this wonderful Science I was told it would meet every human need.

Many years ago "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was given to me with the remark that it was a book which heals sickness as Jesus healed it and that it helps one in any circumstance. This remark aroused in me a great interest in the book, and I read it every free moment I had.

My sincere gratitude for Christian Science prompts me to write this testimony with the hope that it may encourage others. Over and over again in my experience that which seemed impossible has become gloriously possible through the study and application of our wonderful religion.

I have had many physical healings in Christian Science, but I think I am grateful most of all for a healing of despondency and listlessness. Almost all my life, until I became interested in this Science, I had been unable to find a satisfactory reason for human existence, and I became morose and unfriendly.
