When I was about eight years old, I was lying on my mom’s bed watching her iron. I asked myself, “Why should I be good?” Quickly the thought came, “Because it is right to be good!” I immediately accepted that idea.
Last year my husband purchased us a second car that uses digital keys. There was no spare key, so the car dealer told him he should make an appointment to have an additional key made.

As a Christian Science nurse, I sometimes encounter challenging cases. But I am always grateful for the immense spiritual growth that takes place in my own thinking while I’m helping another.

The teacher gave me simple stories, and the children were to read them for me over and over, so that they mastered the stories and gained confidence in their reading abilities.
Christ Jesus’ ministry started with only a few disciples, but this work brought about profound healing. Centuries after, creed and dogma seemed to hide Christian healing, but Christ’s teachings were not forever silenced.
It has been said that every problem is a vision problem. I am learning that the quality of one’s vision depends on how spiritual it is.
