Testimonies of Healing

Mrs. Eddy: I wish to testify, through the columns of the Journal, what Christian Science has done for me, through the healing power of Miss S.

On the 19th of Sept last, while out walking, I unfortunately stepped into a hole, and so severely sprained my ankle that I was obliged to be carried home. My ankle became very painful and much swollen.

Mrs. Glover Eddy : Nearly six months ago, I was cured of dyspepsia and chronic liver complaint, by a lady claiming to be one of your students; also my husband was cured of chronic dysentery, of twenty years' standing.

One year ago, when the decree went forth that all children must be vaccinated, I refused to allow my child—a girl of eleven—to submit. Once I should have been among the first; but having learned some of the truth contained in Christian Science, could not submit to such a thing.

Christian Science Journal :—About one year ago, when my little boy was about one month old, I was taken down sick with what the Drs called gastric fever. I had fearful distress at times.

Beloved Teacher :—I received letters from my daughter here, of the rapidly failing health of her sick husband. He had been better for a few weeks, but had again relapsed, and was unable to go out, and reduced to a perfect skeleton with a belief of violent dyspepsia, if not something worse.
