Testimonies of Healing
My husband was a vibrant, energetic, creative, successful man. He was a wonderful husband and father.
Although our vacation during the summer of 1996 was spent recovering from a near fatal auto accident, I can honestly say it was our best vacation ever. No pleasurable vacation pursuit could have equaled the four weeks my husband and I spent learning and demonstrating that Life is not in matter, either to be enjoyed or to suffer from.
At the age of fourteen I was boarding with a family of which the wife was a Christian Scientist. I later learned that she was related to my father and that my parents placed me there because she was a Christian Scientist.
One Friday last October during my usual slow run, I fell. I had slick shoes on and the pavement was wet.
One summer day about two years ago I was out with my friend. We were riding our bikes down a hill that led us to my house.
Some years ago my daughter realized that she would not be able to raise her little daughter. At that time my granddaughter, then three years old, had been living with me for almost a year.
Several years ago I hurt my back while lifting something. That evening I found I couldn't sit up and had to crawl out of bed to answer the telephone.
Shortly after graduating from college, I became sexually involved with a young divorced man who was not interested in another marriage. Even though there were good elements to the relationship, the driving force was sensuality.
One day while I was on our school playground, I was on the parallel bars and I slipped and fell off. I started screaming, and believe it or not, only my best friend (who was right beside me) heard me.
Where I have lived for over ten years, there are many hills, curves, and trees. While driving to church to usher for the Thanksgiving Day service, I glanced down for some reason, I don't remember why.
