Testimonies of Healing
Early in my teaching career, I decided to take some time off from teaching in order to pursue an MBA degree full time. I enrolled in an excellent program in a different state that would require an 100-mile round trip by car to attend classes that met in the late afternoon until night.
Some years ago , our family decided to purchase an older horse so my husband at the time (not my current husband) could join the children and me on rides. As I started to rise from a sitting position, I felt an excruciating pain in my lower back and almost collapsed on the floor. Sheer human willpower got me to the bed in my hotel room to lie down.
The events on the ninth day of December 2020 shall forever remain a treasured memory. I was traveling from Nyeri to my hometown of Karatina in a public service vehicle when it was involved in a serious collision with a lorry that was moving in the opposite direction.
