C. A. Frye, C. S., spoke before the Scientists, Dec. 28, from Phil. iv. 8: "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Dr. Frye's address was interesting and instructive. "We are not sinners" he said "because we are tempted; for our Master was tempted like as we are, yet was without sin. He was without sin because he thought only whatsoever things are pure, and virtuous, and just. So then we, by thinking on these things only, as Paul advises, may become like unto Him who was our example."
This is the dawn of infant faith;
The day will follow soon,
When hope shall breathe with freer breath,
And morn be lost in noon.
