A good machinist, before setting a machine...

From the January 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.—Matt. vi. 33.

A good machinist, before setting a machine to running, will first see that it is in good running order. He will see that the conditions for running are perfected. He will then, and then only, expect favorable results from its operation. Seek first the condition of harmony, and then the wisdom and the power will be given to make life a grand, glorious success—success in the highest and best sense of that much abused term.
