Last October I began to have a stiffness in the third finger of my right hand. This continued for some time, but did not cause any uneasiness until it commenced to extend from my hand, through my arm, to my shoulder. I sought medical advice, and was treated for muscular paralysis. Used various medical preparations and the electric battery. Receiving only temporary relief, I was finally induced to try Christian Science for my case. I was already discouraged, as I had been obliged to give up for a time my position as stenographer and typewriter, and expected to be obliged to resign it entirely; for my physician assured me that it would be at least six months before it would be safe to operate the typewriter again. My arm was so weak that it would fall by my side, after I had exercised it for a few minutes. After three weeks' treatment with Mrs. Ingalls, I was quite cured.
Very respectfully,
