Three years ago I was healed, through Christian Science, of bronchial asthma, sore throat, and continual colds. Previous to this healing, I spent most of my time in the house and in bed. I was unable to walk or take any exercise without its bringing on a severe attack of coughing, and I had difficulty in breathing. Every sort of material means was applied,—massage of the right lung being the last, and most useless. At this period, my doctor informed me that I should never be able to winter in England. I then heard of Christian Science from an Australian friend, and asked for absent treatment, which I had for three weeks. The first week I was greatly relieved, the second week I did not notice any discomfort, and at the end of the third my ailments had disappeared; when and how, I did not know, but suddenly I was quite well. I have never had any return of these ailments since. I am most gratefulto Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful truth, for showing us how to know God. I am also most grateful to the practitioner for her loving patience and help.
