As one who in the past has known the meaning of sorrow, and suffering both of body and mind, I desire to tell of my healing in Christian Science. From early womanhood, until within the past few years, I scarcely knew what health was, and spent a good portion of my time at different periods in various sanitariums and health resorts, but still remained an invalid. About seven years ago, through two great troubles coming close together, I became a nervous wreck, and not obtaining permanent relief from numerous physicians and three specialists who attended me, I determined to turn to Christian Science, which I had first heard of some fourteen years ago. It is now two years and a half since I sincerely and earnestly gave myself up to Christian Science. During the first week of the treatment I felt a great change, and within a month I realized that I was a new woman both mentally and physically. I have never taken any kind of medicine from that day to this, and can truthfully say that I am absolutely free from any form of nervousness, and also from all the other things from which I used to suffer, so much so that friends who knew me in former years often ask me what I have done that has made such a marvelous change in me. I now know that it is God and the understanding of man's relation to Him that has brought me this health. I am willing and glad to make this statement of gratitude if it may be of help to others. — Hillcrest, Del.
