I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, for it has lifted me out of darkness into light. Nine years ago, when I first heard of it, I was trying to live a Christian life in an orthodox church, but I failed so completely that I became discouraged. All my life I had sought the Lord, but I never was satisfied until I came to Christian Science! Now all my doubts and fears have disappeared, and I know that I have found the truth. For nine years I have relied upon Christian Science in every need and have never been disappointed. I have had some beautiful demonstrations of Truth's power; one in the case of an accident, another in a great sorrow. I have found comfort and peace, — the "peace of God, which passeth all understanding." To say that I am grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for these great blessings, but feebly expresses my feelings. My earnest desire is to live this great truth.
