Each day I feel more grateful for the blessings God bestows upon me through Christian Science. About three years ago I became interested in Christian Science through friends who had been healed. From girlhood I was not strong, and my people cared for me very tenderly, as different physicians said I needed the best of care. I had four of the best physicians in the city and gave each a good trial, but I was told I could not be cured; that a limb trouble would grow worse, that all had been done that could be, and I would have to make the best of things.
When I heard of Christian Science, I felt it was just what I needed, and I lost no time in trying to understand it. With the first treatment which the practitioner gave me, I knew that God would be my physician, and in a short time I was healed, and with this came the greatest joy and peace. I had been wearing glasses since the age of fourteen, and had been told that I would always have to do so, but through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy my eyes were healed, and I can do close work without any difficulty. Both of my children have been healed, and we have a great deal to be thankful for. Words cannot express my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, whose teachings have enabled me to find the truth.
