It is with a feeling of intense gratitude that I give this testimony to prove the healing power of Truth. I was a great sufferer for over three years, on account of a fall down some steps which hurt my spine and supposedly shattered the whole nervous system. I was under the care of two doctors and a specialist. Two of the three said I might get well in course of time, but the other seemed to consider the case hopeless. I tried every medical aid, but without any satisfactory result. At last I was determined to give up medical treatment altogether, as I was gradually getting worse, and I felt that before long I would be entirely helpless.
It was at this time, over a year ago, that Christian Science came to my aid. I received one treatment from a practitioner, after which I was quite well. Friends who saw me two days after the treatment, were amazed at the change. Since then I have had another healing. I had a very distressing sensation in my head, which made me feel very stupid; but this was overcome under absent treatment, and for this healing I cannot be too grateful. I shall always be pleased to give my testimony when called upon to do so.
