I am much pleased to express my thanks for the help which I have received through Christian Science. For two years I suffered from kidney disease, which gave me great pain and often confined me to my bed for weeks. The doctor declared that I would not get better without an operation, but T could not make up my mind to submit to this, as I had such a great fear of it. At this time my attention was drawn to Christian Science; I attended the services, and was soon able to understand the teachings, and from that time I improved. I asked for treatment, which was given me, and now I am, thank God, quite recovered. That is a year and a half ago, and since then T have had no return of the trouble. In other things also I have been helped by Christian Science. For all these benefits I am very thankful to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and it is my earnest desire to reach a higher understanding of Science.
