I came to Christian Science through a desire to be healed of nervous and stomach trouble, from which I had been more or less of a sufferer all my life. I was supposed to have inherited this disease, as my father and grandfather had both died of it. I was in a hospital nine months at one time, in an endeavor to be healed of my trouble, but in vain. Shortly before trying Christian Science, I consulted with seven doctors, and they all told me that I had about three months to live.
I was completely discouraged, and made up my mind that I would try to find relief in some church, so I went to the Christian Science church one Sunday with some friends. The following Friday I had treatment from a practitioner and was completely healed. I was afterward able also to leave off glasses, which I had been obliged to use for some time. For the physical healing I am very grateful, but I am still more so for the spiritual elp which I have received through he teachings of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Christian Science has never failed me during the two years in which I have been interested in it.—Fall River, Mass.
