Before learning of Christian Science I was an invalid for three years. I had been treated by thirteen different physicians, some of them the most eminent in the state, but had grown so weak and despondent that I looked for relief only through death. Thanks be to God that in Christian Science the light has been given me whereby the bondage of sin, sickness, and death has been broken, and I am free.
During the past eighteen years kidney trouble, broken ribs, neuralgia, ulcerated teeth, smoking, and other false appetites, have given place to health and happiness, and financial difficulties have been overcome. My wife has been healed of what is called typhoid pneumonia, quinsy, and other ailments, and our two children of abscesses of the neck, ringworm, croup, and colds. It matters not what the difficulty may be, whenever I have turned to divine Love for help it has been received.
