Christian Science came into our home about six years ago. Since that time each member of the family has been healed of numerous difficulties through the better understanding of God and our relationship to Him as taught in Science and Health. Medicines were thrown away during the first few weeks of study, and I am grateful to say we have had no desire to use any since that time. My wife was subject to severe headaches which would last for days; but these are unknown to her now. Not only has she been healed of this ailment and many other ills, but through her study she is able to help others. Not long ago our daughter, aged eleven, caught her finger in a door as it closed, resulting in a very painful injury. She and her mother immediately applied their understanding of Christian Science, and in a few minutes the pain had ceased. The next morning the wound was healed over, and in less than a week all evidence of it had disappeared.
I myself have been healed of stomach trouble, catarrh, the tobacco habit, and many other diseased conditions which threatened to rob me of health and happiness. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who labored so earnestly that all mankind might know God aright.— Los Angeles, Cal.
