I wish to make a grateful acknowledgment of what Christian Science has done for me. For nearly ten years I had suffered from rheumatism, neuritis, heart trouble, and a chronic throat affection. I had tried baths, diet, massage, electricity, medicine, and other methods of cure, besides a constant changing to different climates and an operation, but I became steadily worse. Then, like so many others who have exhausted all material methods, I turned to Christian Science, although with no particular faith in it, and inside of two weeks was wonderfully improved.
While these ailments have appeared again at times, they have always been overcome by Truth, and I have proven that God's child can live in any climate and be well. I am very grateful for all the literature, which is a wonderful help in realizing our unify with God, also for class instruction, and for the privilege of church membership.— Dallas, Ore.
I wish to corroborate the testimony of my sister. We all felt she was doomed to a short life full of sickness and pain. The thought of heredity was strong, as our mother had passed on at an early age and my sister was said to be like her. Her healing seemed wonderful to us, as we were not then Scientists and knew nothing of the teachings of Christian Science. To the many who are now as I used to be, watching in fear and anxiety over a loved one, I want to say that Christian Science does heal, no matter how complicated the trouble or of how long standing.
