In February, 1913, I suffered from what was later diagnosed as chronic appendicitis, and as the suffering did not diminish, I was operated on in July by the foremost surgeons of the county. I recovered from the operation rapidly, but did not get relief from the ailment, so was treated successively by a number of eminent physicians. As there was no improvement in my condition, in February, 1915, I turned to Christian Science, though with little hope, and took treatment from a practitioner for two months. After that I continued to study the literature, and in a short time was perfectly well.
I have derived great benefits from Christian Science, and with continued study I gain a clearer and more helpful knowledge of it. I am thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving these teachings to the world.—Metaline, Wash.
