For over twenty years Christian Science has been my friend and helper. I am so grateful for every demonstration, so happy to pass this truth on to others. Last summer our family were most wonderfully preserved, when our automobile overturned. I had been thinking of harmony, peace, protection, and when the skidding began, had but time to declare that there are no accidents in God's kingdom. Those who came to our assistance and saw the wrecked car could not believe it possible that no one was injured. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for this protection.
About ten years ago I asked for treatment for a growth which might be disfiguring. After being treated two weeks with no apparent result, I left town, telling the practitioner I would prefer not to be treated while away. I paid for the two weeks' treatment and thought but little of the trouble, until on my return home I found that every vestige of the manifestation had disappeared. The words of Truth once spoken carry on their healing work. The vitalizing power which they possess does not end with the conclusion of any treatment, but it continues to heal and bless after the practitioner's work is ended.
The study of Christian Science unfolds new beauties in everything. One enjoys more keenly the wonders of nature, earth and sea and sky. They give promise of realities yet to be discerned. The worth while things appear, and those of transient value disappear. Man is God's idea. This truth is for us to declare and demonstrate, and as we seek this realization of the perfect man, we put from us the unkind thought, the material concept, and we find that this man of God does appear in corrected, healthful lives.—Troy, N.
