"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." Thus Mrs. Eddy writes in the opening lines of the Preface to her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I am one of thousands who have found these words to be blessedly true. I have been greatly helped through Christian Science, and am most thankful to God, to Mrs. Eddy, and to all the dear ones who have helped me to gain an understanding of this truth. It came to my aid when I was very ill and unhappy. The physician said that I must undergo an operation in order to recover, but to this I would not consent. Yet I felt myself growing physically weaker day by day. When my sister learned of my condition arrangements were made for me to visit her. I then began the study of Christian Science, and received treatment from a practitioner.
I have been healed of many ailments and my life is growing daily more harmonious and peaceful. During this time my little boy, who was then six years of age and had been ill from infancy, was left with a tubercular tendency in the glands of the neck, and bad results from an attack of infantile paralysis. He has been completely healed of these erroneous conditions. Now he is a strong, healthy boy. Words cannot express my gratitude for these healings and for the many proofs that divine Love does meet our needs.
