BE STILL AND KNOW

From the May 1921 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Be still and know that God is good
And God is everywhere:
He holds us ever in His love,
There is never aught to fear.

Be still and know that God is Truth
And Truth is ever nigh,
It is our help in every need
If on it we rely.

Be still and know that God is Love
And Love alone is real;
We can reflect its shining light
And thus all discord heal.

Be still and know that God is Life,—
Then man can never die;
Why should we sorrow, fear, or doubt?
Man's destiny is high.
