I give this testimony in great thankfulness to God and with gratitude to the Leader of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy. One night toward the end of last November I started down to the basement, tripped at about the second step, and fell to the bottom, striking the back of my head and my back. I did not become unconscious, but was speechless and could hardly breathe, and all I could think was, "God is Love." My husband picked me up and assisted me upstairs and my sister called up a practitioner. With her loving help and my sister reading to me I went to sleep and slept fairly well all night. In the morning I could breathe much more freely and could do little household duties as usual, and by Thanksgiving Day I was perfectly all right and there were not even any bruises.
I am thankful for the many blessings my family and I have received through Christian Science and my daily prayer is for more understanding.—(Mrs.) Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
