In love and gratitude for all that Christian Science is teaching me I send this testimony, and trust it may prove helpful to others.
Christian Science has given me an altogether wider and brighter outlook. It is a wonderful help to me over all difficulties, both in my home life and in business; for by the study of Christian Science we can realize that God is ever present and divine Love governs all. It is also helpful to know how much we can help others by our own right thinking. Hate and jealousy seemed to be expressed very strongly against me at one time, which I used to return with much anger. This error came up very frequently; but I am learning through Christian Science to meet it with love, and much of it has now disappeared.
I have had several healings through Christian Science, one of a very badly poisoned thumb (which I used to have quite frequently until I began to study Christian Science). On this occasion I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, and it was most patiently and lovingly given, for which I am deeply grateful. For two days I experienced dreadful pain. On the third day the difficulty was healed. The pain left me, and the thumb began to look much better. Within three weeks I had a new nail and my thumb was quite perfect. If my understanding had been more clear at that time, I should have made a better demonstration. This was proved to me a few months later when poisoning in another finger started. I asked help from the same practitioner, who after talking to me for a little while made me see the truth more clearly than I had ever done before, with the result that my finger was healed within two days, and I have not had a return of this condition since. Within the last few months I have experienced two instantaneous healings, so that I know I am growing in the understanding of Truth.
