PROMISES

From the July 1925 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"I love your promise."—Miscellaneous Writings, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 87.

I'll never doubt that beauty lives
While cherry trees are white with snow,
Or pale beneath an April sky
I see a single primrose grow.

I'll never doubt encircling Love
Closer than air around us lies,
While I can see a sudden gleam
Of kindness in another's eyes.
