"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." This beautiful verse of Scripture describes my approach to Christian Science. It was not for physical healing that I turned to Christian Science, but in answer to prayer and with a real hunger and thirst to know and understand God.
After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for one month, I was able to lay aside glasses which I had worn for ten years. Since then every physical need and problem has been quickly met for my four children as well as for myself, through my own study and application of Christian Science or through the loving help of a kind practitioner.
Christian Science has proved the Comforter in deep sorrow, protection from accident and contagion, and an ever present help and guide, and has brought to me "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding."
