About three years ago, through Christian Science, I learned the truth about God and man as His perfect idea. Since then I have had many healings, some of physical ailments, such as nervousness, colds, constipation, hay fever; and also healings of unlovely traits of disposition, such as resentment, self-love, hatred, and self-will. Some of these discords were very slow to yield, while others were healed almost instantaneously.
I shall never cease to be grateful to God for these healings, also for the understanding I have received of His goodness and protection, which lifts me up and sustains me in the face of trials and temptations. I am indeed grateful to Mrs. Eddy for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I thank the kind practitioners from the depths of my heart for their untiring patience and love. My greatest desire is that I may be a more faithful servant and be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.— Belle Fourche, South Dakota
