I wish to express the deepest gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and mine during the past twenty years. I did not turn to Christian Science for healing but because I believed it to be the absolute truth; none the less, all my physical needs have been met from that time onward, and it has been my greatest help in bringing up a family of four children.
The first demonstration was the realization of the truth of Mrs. Eddy's words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 454), "The understanding, even in a degree, of the divine All-power destroys fear;" and among other things German measles and whooping cough were quickly overcome.
To my great joy my husband took up the study of Christian Science about nine years ago. I wish to relate one demonstration of the power of divine Love for which no words can express our gratitude. In April, 1931, our son and daughter, returning home at night, came to a place where the road was torn up and the motor cycle ran up a bank of earth and jumped a trench three feet wide which had been dug across the road. The girl escaped with slight injuries, but the boy was thrown on his head, which resulted in concussion and a badly fractured skull. He was taken to the hospital.
