I feel that it is my duty to give a short account of the wonderful healings that I have had through Christian Science.
On the last day of January, 1932, I met with a serious motorcycle accident, in which one of my legs and a collar bone were broken; I also had concussion of the brain. I was unconscious for nine days, and was still in a semiconscious condition when my leg was set, which was twenty-three days after the accident. After being taken out of the operating room, I was pronounced dead by the doctor; but through the loving work of a Christian Science practitioner, who had been with me most of the time, I was soon restored to life. I did not suffer from pain one minute all the time that I was confined.
Another healing which I should like to mention was that of appendicitis, which was healed in one treatment. Today I am as sound as ever I was, for which I am very grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy, also to the practitioner, who was always ready to help me meet any difficulty that arose.— Havana, Cuba.
