It is with deepest gratitude that I wish to add my testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. My experience has proved that it heals moral as well as physical ills. After years of wrong thinking and living I finally found myself separated from home and all that was dear to me and in the very depths of despondency and despair. Nothing could help me but God, about whom I knew nothing, never having had any religious teaching. The realization that God was the only possible help led me to call on one who had been scorned and ridiculed by my family as well as myself. This good Samaritan, a Christian Science practitioner, started me on the right path to spiritual understanding. Needless to say, after a lengthy period of consecrated study of the Bible and Science and Health and purification of my thinking, together with the steadfast assistance of this same loving practitioner, my home and family have been restored, happier and more harmonious than ever. Although the completion of this healing was protracted, I gained a firm foundation in the understanding of the truth taught by Christ Jesus, and at the same time I was loosed from many false appetites and erroneous habits. Christian Science has completely regenerated my life.
I am grateful for all the physical healings, for the demonstration of supply, for class instruction and church membership, and for all the periodicals. This testimony certainly would not be complete without expressing thanks for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and it is my sincere desire to live so as to prove my gratitude.— Haslett, Michigan.
