With joy and gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through my understanding of Christian Science and its application, I send this testimony.
Twenty years ago, while passing through the tortures of what medical science called an incurable disease and facing a serious operation, I was asked to try Christian Science. I immediately went to see a practitioner. After hearing her talk of this wonderful truth for a short time I knew I had found the "pearl of great price" and a cure for all my ills. I knew it was the very truth which Jesus had taught and demonstrated.
In less than a year I was completely healed of rheumatoid arthritis and of an internal trouble, which surgeons had declared could never be healed without an operation. I had been operated on for this condition before, but in a short time it had returned. I was also healed of adhesions, the result of an operation, sick headaches from which I had suffered from childhood, quinsy sore throats, angina pectoris, said to be hereditary in my family, influenza, and many other ills.
