"O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise." So sang the Psalmist of old, and this is indeed my constant prayer. After years of ill-health, which were climaxed in a serious operation, I found myself apparently facing another operation and possible invalidism. Knowing nothing of Christian Science, I was shocked at suggestion of a friend that I should try Christian Science. However, "man's extremity is God's opportunity." At my first treatment I was healed of periodical sick headaches.
In humble, loving gratitude, and with a desire to prove what the healing power is, I earnestly studied the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Many healings have since come to me and mine through steadfast reliance on the truth as found in our textbook.
A practitioner's consecrated work so uplifted my thought to the understanding of substance as wholly spiritual, that financial burdens have been lifted and plenty has been found at hand, where seeming want had been.
