So numerous are the blessings I have received through the teachings of Christian Science that I find it impossible to refrain any longer from expressing my gratitude to our loving Father-Mother God and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and also to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered the Science of Christianity.
It was my great privilege to be brought up in a Christian Science home, where I was taught to put this Science into practice in my daily experiences. It has been a wonderful help and guide to me, so much so that I marvel how anybody gets along without it.
I have witnessed and experienced many healings, both physical and mental. When a little child, I badly lacerated the inside of my mouth by falling on the spike of a gate. My mother, who heard my cry, came to me and declared aloud man's perfection. She comforted and helped me. and an hour and a half later I was quite ready for my supper and went to bed happily. In about two days the healing was complete.
