I want to tell of a wonderful healing of severe sick headache, for it meant much to me. I had had treatment for two years and had had relief, but every month the trouble recurred. One morning I called a Christian Science practitioner at seven o'clock and was told to be quiet and rest. This I tried to do, but I had to make preparations for a dinner that night, so felt obliged to get up. I went on with my work, knowing that I must fill my place, and in two hours I was completely relieved and have never had any more trouble from that difficulty.
When I was first introduced to Christian Science, twelve years ago, four doctors had stated that unless I consented to another operation, I should never be well. To me this was distressing, for I had been operated on three times, and felt that another operation would end my earthly existence. My extremity was "God's opportunity," and I was led to Science. My healing of tumor and many other ailments was accomplished in a comparatively short time through the treatments of a loving practitioner.
Since the first day I asked for help, I have been an earnest student of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I am grateful for each step taken through these years—church membership, distribution committee work, and Sunday school work—and I am preparing for further usefulness.
