My gratitude for all that Christian Science has brought into my life can never be expressed in words. Instead of illness and suffering, it has given me health and strength. It has replaced invalidism and worry with the joy of service and the peace "which passeth all understanding." It has given me a religion that is practical and demonstrable—a religion that is useful every day in the year and every hour in the day.
I am grateful for the many healings I have experienced and witnessed. I have been healed of neurasthenia of many years' standing, with its accompaniments of insomnia and numerous other ills. I have been healed of digestive troubles, rheumatism, sprained ankles, colds, and various other forms of discord.
I have had many instantaneous healings and am grateful for the proof that "the word of God is quick, and powerful." Many other healings have come slowly, and I am more than grateful for the lessons of patience and perseverance they have brought, and for the spiritual unfoldment that has come as a result of prayerful, consecrated study.
