My husband and I did not come into Christian Science for physical healing, but both of us have since experienced many healings. In 1936 we met a student of Christian Science, whose words and outlook on life so impressed us that one day we asked for information about Christian Science. A copy of the textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, was lent us, and we knew that we had found the truth. It was a great help to us that this friend, like ourselves, was born in the Jewish faith, for he could answer our questions understandingly.
I have had healings of indigestion, constipation, eczema, and many other ailments. Recently a tooth appeared for which there seemed to be no room, so it came out of the side of the gum, causing quite a bit of discomfort; but with the realization of the truth the tooth grew into line with the other teeth.
For all these healings, and more especially for the light thrown on the Bible, formerly a closed book to us, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the inestimable privilege of class instruction, I am more grateful than words can express. My gratitude is also unbounded to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has made clear the meaning of the wonderful words and works of our great Master, Christ Jesus.
