The Christian Science periodicals have meant so much to me that I wish to express my sincere gratitude for them. They have often met my need through some specific article or testimony.
Christian Science has blessed our whole family so abundantly that it would be difficult to relate all our happy experiences. We have been protected during adverse circumstances and healed of various diseases. Our son escaped from an airplane crash uninjured, although the plane was badly damaged and, when it struck, uprooted a large orange tree. He said there had been no time to do any specific work, only to trust God, and this understanding trust was indeed adequate protection for him and his companions.
Our little daughter was healed of an abscessed ear, through the application of Christian Science. She also learned a valuable lesson in obedience during this time. The practitioner who was helping her recommended that she come to her home for a treatment. The little girl at first felt unable to make the trip because of the pain. Then she decided to go, declaring that she could suffer no harm from being obedient. The visit to the practitioner's home proved to be a very joyous experience, resulting in much improvement.
