Today, to the outward eye, looking only at the material picture, the world revolution would appear to be a gigantic struggle taking place between nations holding ideals of freedom and justice and others swayed by greed, lust for power, and a false sense of government. Even from the human standpoint we can see the struggle as being between that which is good and desirable and that which is evil and undesirable.
Christian Science, however, shows that the struggle for the establishment of right ideals and for the overthrowing of false government and oppression is the outcome of a mighty revolution taking place in human consciousness, namely, the changing of thought from the material to the spiritual basis. This revolution has been going on in some degree for centuries, since Christ Jesus' revelation of Truth, but has been greatly accelerated in the last seventy-six years, since the discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy.
When Jesus said to his disciples, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth," he clearly indicated that his teachings would be more fully understood through a further revelation of Truth which should come to the world.
