OMNIPRESENCE

From the December 1943 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Though wayward winds may toss my craft
Upon a chartless sea,
I need not fear the wave or storm,
God's presence is with me.

Though death may roar from out the night,
And fiery blasts may sear,
I have no doubt, for God is Life;
I feel His presence here.

Though winged terror fly above
Upon destruction bent,
I shall not falter at my task;
Love is omnipotent.

Father, wherever I may go,
Or what my task may be,
Thy presence is my constant shield,
For I am one with Thee.
