Since beginning the study of Christian Science I have had many healings, some of which were those of colds, constipation, and ivy poisoning, and I have been able to prove the availability of God's protective care. In humble gratitude I offer this testimony.
A few years ago it was necessary for my husband to accept a position in a different state from the one in which we were living. This necessitated the selling of our home. We were told by many that because of the depression it was the wrong time to sell. Three real estate agencies were asked to aid us, but they gave little encouragement, telling us that no one was buying at this time. Through the application of Christian Science to this problem I realized that man was governed by God, not by prevailing conditions, and that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 494). Soon afterward an agent, unknown to us, called, saying he had heard we wanted to sell and knew someone who was in need of a home similar to the one we had to offer. Within three days his client had bought our home and all necessary papers were signed. This was accomplished without financial loss.
At one time great fear took possession of me. I was afraid of everything and everybody, but I knew that I could be healed of this through Christian Science. I was able to study for only a few minutes at a time, but the condition was finally overcome by my clinging to the truth about God and man as taught in Science and Health.
