My gratitude to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for Christian Science is unbounded. It is a great joy to have the opportunity of expressing this gratitude and adding my testimony to the many others.
From early childhood I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. My mother took up the study of Science when I was an infant. Through the years that have followed, many beautiful healings have taken place and the protective power of Christian Science has been proved time and again.
I was protected from having many of the so-called diseases of childhood, and was quickly healed of mumps and measles. Later, in college years, I had a severe attack of Spanish influenza. This condition developed into double pneumonia and seemed greatly aggravated by the fears of relatives who were not Christian Scientists. Through the faithful work and firm stand of a loving practitioner, a complete healing was realized. More recently I have had an instantaneous healing of grief. Another practitioner was called when the way seemed overwhelmingly dark, and the lifting of this burden of grief was immediate.
