God is everywhere; therefore, God is infinite. This is a profound statement that must arrest the earnest attention of every student of the Bible. The false material senses cannot obscure the allness and infinity of Spirit, the wholly good and all-pervading power of divine Love. The suggestions of the illusive senses are no part of infinity. The infinite God, good, is as close to man as are his thoughts, and the way to demonstrate the liberating truth is now revealed in Christian Science. Matter and its false, temporary beliefs do not exist in the realm of the eternally real. Paul said, "The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
Aggressive suggestions would persuade us to believe that man, who is the image and likeness of God, lives in the midst of matter and is subject to its subtlety. But this is not so. Spiritual ideas and spiritual law fill all space; they are not affected by materiality, and divine law forever sustains man as whole and complete. Material beliefs disappear in the presence of infinite divine intelligence. Matter and its claims cannot stand in the light of spiritual Truth.
One who has gained spiritual understanding through his study and practice of Christian Science, knows that God, good, is infinite presence, infinite power, infinite intelligence, and that nothing in the material world can cause him to be fearful or anxious. Thus he has conscious spiritual dominion over the carnal mind's suggestions of discord. Christian Scientists have learned not to regard matter as real, but to look beyond its illusions to man's eternal existence in infinite Mind.
