I am grateful for Christian Science, which Mrs. Eddy defines in "Rudimental Divine Science" (p. 1) "as the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony."
I became a sincere student of Christian Science when seeking a physical healing. I had had medical aid for eighteen months for streptococcic throat and lungs, also nerve exhaustion. Each attack became more severe, and during the last one the physician told me there was nothing more he could do for me. It was then my husband and I decided to ask for Christian Science help. I was led to ask a practitioner, whom I had never met, for help. In forty-eight hours after I telephoned to her my throat was free. In a very short time my strength and nerves were normal, and I was able to return to my work.
The truth has been a constant help to me in my work, by teaching me to see man as the expression of God.
