Truth newly found
Is like a rare and precious jewel
Which, cradled in the hand,
Gives off soft rays of light.
Then, when for deeper knowing
It is clasped against the breast,
The thoughts of its clear glowing
Reflect Truth's loveliness.
Held thus upon the heart,
Truth gradually reveals
The gracious lesson—
That only when one feels
A generous urge to share
One's blessing with another,
And lifts his shining treasure up and out
On open, wide-stretched palm,
Can its clear, crystal depths reflect,
With ever new and scintillating glory,
The perfect radiance of light.
