It is now over thirty years since my testimony was published in the Christian Science Sentinel, and I feel even more grateful than I did on the day I wrote it, for I have had many opportunities since then of proving the truth for which I expressed gratitude.
I testified then of my first physical healing, which was the overcoming of severe headaches. It is a joy now to confirm the completeness and permanency of that healing. I also expressed a desire to help others, and many opportunities to do this have come to me. I am more grateful than I can say for the help I have been able to give and to receive by listening to that still, small voice and learning of the truth which makes us free. One such opportunity was my appointment as a Public Visitor to one of His Majesty's prisons. I visited this prison every Sunday evening for seven years and shall never cease to be grateful for the healing and regenerating experiences which I saw there during that time.
I am very grateful for class instruction and for the yearly association meeting, also for the lectures which I have the privilege of hearing from time to time.
