My first healing was of the fear of being poisoned if I picked green plants and leaves. This healing took place during the silent prayer at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. What a joy it is to be freed of this suggestion! I have been healed of colds, grippe, pneumonia, severe cuts, severe dog bites, results of an automobile accident, and virus sore throat through Christian Science with the help of practitioners.
One outstanding healing, that of unforgiveness, came slowly and required much consecrated study. This healing has brought lasting peace of mind, true humility, and a deeper love for man. The words of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 254) were of great help, "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God."
I have also witnessed healings of broken bones and severe bleeding. These conditions yielded when the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement (ibid., p. 182), "Mind's government of the body must supersede the so called laws of matter," was realized.
