It would not be possible, in the space...

From the August 1950 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It would not be possible, in the space allotted, to enumerate the blessings which have accrued to my family through the study and application of Christian Science since the year 1889. In May of that year my grandmother, who had been given up by four physicians, was healed in Christian Science of a rupture at time of childbirth, and from that time until her passing on, in 1945. she led a useful, healthful, and active life.

Encouraged by her daughter's remarkable recovery, my great-grandmother took up the study of this Science, and one day while reading the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, she laid aside glasses which she had worn for many years, stating that she no longer needed them. This healing took place at what sense testimony would call advanced age, and the healing was permanent.

I count the greatest blessing in my own experience to be the wonderful privilege of growing up in our Sunday School and knowing only the teachings of Christian Science all through the years. Two healings which I should like briefly to relate show how instantly available are the glorious truths we are taught in our Sunday School and in the daily study of our religion.
