With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed within two weeks of rheumatism of eleven years' standing. At this time I also was healed of sinus trouble with which I had been troubled all my life and for which I had had several operations. Before taking up the study of Christian Science, I tried many doctors, specialists, and chiropractors, as well as physiotherapy and many other material remedies, but instead of getting better my condition grew worse. I was absent from my work on an average of thirty days every year because of colds, grippe, et cetera. However, since becoming interested in Christian Science I have not lost a single day from work because of illness. These healings took place ten years ago and have been permanent.
My wife was completely healed of a severe case of the grippe within twenty-four hours after she called a practitioner. Through Christian Science treatment our three-year-old son was healed of a so-called children's disease. One night when he seemed to be very ill, the practitioner called at our house to see him. While she was sitting alone with him silently praying, we heard him call out: "Error, error, go away. Error, go away and leave me alone; I am a soldier boy." From that moment the child showed improvement, and within a few days all evidence of the condition was gone.
